High Speed cameras

Our Primary high speed camera is the Phantom Veo 4k which is capable of 1000 fps in 4k and 2000 fps in 2k

We would be remiss if we did not note that the new Red V-Raptor ST 8k FF camera can sometimes be sufficient for a more modest high speed shoot - which is capable of 240fps in 4k and 120fps in 8k.

For more modest slow motion or normal speed jobs we recommend also either our Red Monstro or Red Gemini cameras….

The Red Monstro uses a full frame chip which produces very beautiful 8k images with both faithful colour and enough resolution/latitude to handle most situations. Its is a very versatile tool that led Panavision to create its flagship DXL2 form its sensor and electronics. If you wanted to create HD film and also need to pull 8k stills for print from the shared rushes then this or the Red V-Raptor ST is perfect.

These FF frame cameras are also the ideal way to access all the funky character of our new Canon TLS Dream lenses or our Mamiya 645 TLS lenses.

The all important other stuff - AKS the Accessories

No matter what camera we use our biggest investment is the accessories that allow them to work at their best in every situation. We feel the camera body typically gets a disproportionate amount of attention and the unsung heroes are the hundreds of other accessories that are needed to work fast and flexible. As mentioned in tech details, the lenses, filtration, lights and grip are often far more important. To make things easier for everyone we have loosely created multiple packages designed for different tasks.  

The designations  

'Studio' a full package that includes every thing needed for your typical commercial… Primes, Zooms, multiple matt-boxes, second body, electronic lens controls systems and wireless monitoring are all included. 

'Editorial'  a simple set up with a basic set of cine primes or zooms that was designed to service stills style fashion and corporate films. Great for Look Books and Brand films.  

'Gimbal-cam'  we are finally happy with the brushless gimbals stabilizers system. It comes pre-built with a modified EasyRig, Serene arm extender and Puppeteer. We stabilize all 6 axis! This is now a really useful tool and no longer a niche gadget. Full Lens control is also included.
